Behind the DG DogGear brand is a story that began in 2007 with the arrival of my first sightound lady – a whippet named Izy. At a time when it was nearly impossible to find clothing that truly fit sighthounds and looked good at the same time, the idea was born to combine my love for animals with a lifelong dream of becoming a fashion designer – this time not for people, but especially for sighthounds.
Our first collection was ready by autumn 2007, and just a year later, in 2008, we launched our very first online shop.
From humble beginnings in a garage with the help of a single seamstress, DG DogGear gradually grew into an established brand. Today, we design and handcraft a wide range of functional and stylish apparel and accessories – from collars and coats to racing vests, jumpers, and tops. Every product is developed in-house – from the initial design to production techniques.
I’m not on this journey alone – I’m surrounded by a talented and dedicated team, without whom DG DogGear wouldn’t be where it is today. We’ve worked together for many years and share the same values – responsibility, precision, and a strong focus on quality in every detail.
Our products now travel to almost every corner of the world, and we work with partners in 17 countries. Yet everything is still handmade, exclusively in the Czech Republic – with care, craftsmanship, and heart. Most of our designs are made by a specific team member who takes full personal responsibility for each product.

Kepeä Taival offers carefully selected products for active dogs, with a particular focus on sighthounds. DG DogGear has been an important part of the company’s selection since 2008. In addition to its online shop, Kepeä Taival has a warehouse store in Tuusula, Finland. The company also attends various dog events throughout the year.

Founded nearly 20 years ago as a pet shop specializing in sports gear, Code Vanitose took a exciting turn in 2012 when my wife and I—as passionate sighthound lovers and owners—decided to focus on this beautiful breed. We teamed up with DG DogGear almost immediately, drawn to the outstanding quality and uniqueness of their products. Since 2019, Code Vanitose has gone fully online, becoming a go-to shop for top-tier sighthound gear and premium nutrition.
My journey with DG DogGear began when I fell completely in love with the collars and apparel I bought for my own dog. This experince inspired me to launch the becolors online shop in 2012, specializing exclusively in DG DogGear products.
From their incredibly gentle collars and beautifully tailored coats to the “NINJA” line—which they wonderfully created in response to our requests—every single DG DogGear item truly elevates our dogs’ daily comfort and overall quality of life.

Founder Hyunjung (JJ) Noh holds both a BA and MA in Communication Graphic Design from Central Saint Martins in London and has worked with global companies including Walt Disney, KLM and Cyclehoop. After returning to Korea, she began life with her Italian Greyhound, KKOUL, whose name combines “Honey” and “Seoul”.
Finding clothes that properly fitted KKOUL’s unique sighthound physique was surprisingly difficult in Korea. What began as a personal search for the most comfortable and well-fitting products for her own dog naturally grew into KKOUL MARKET, Korea’s first premium boutique specialising in products for sighthounds. The name “MARKET” reflects JJ’s original idea of creating a place where she could personally select and bring together products not only for dogs, but also for the people who share their lives with them.
Today, JJ brings her background in design and communication to KKOUL MARKET, carefully selecting products for fit, comfort, functionality and design, providing personal sizing advice, and sharing feedback and ideas from Korean sighthound owners directly with the brands she works with. KKOUL MARKET has proudly worked with DG DogGear for more than seven years.
Pointy Faces is a family business, based in the UK, dedicated to bringing together the very best products for the whole sighthound family. With the help of our rescue hounds, we have tried and tested hundreds of products to carefully curate our range, giving customers the reassurance that everything has been sourced with comfort, quality and practicality in mind.
