Privacy Policy
The Customer (data subject) acknowledges that he or she transfers his or her personal data to the Supplier voluntarily and freely.
The Supplier declares that all personal data it processes for the purposes described below are considered strictly confidential and are treated in accordance with Regulation 2016/679 Coll. effective from May 25, 2018.
The Supplier shall proceed in such a way that the data subject does not suffer prejudice to his or her rights, in particular the right to the preservation of human dignity, and also to the protection against unauthorized interference with the private and personal life of the data subject.
Personal data
The Customer acknowledges that from the range of personal data and information provided to the Supplier voluntarily and freely in connection with the purposes of processing described below, the Supplier processes the following personal data:
Name and surname
Company name, or company ID and VAT number
Billing and delivery addresses
Contact information: e-mail address; telephone number
The above data are collected, processed and stored in accordance with the valid legislation of the Czech Republic, especially with Regulation 2016/679 Coll. (GDPR) effective from May 25, 2018.
If the data are processed only for the purposes described below, no explicit consent of the Customer is required for such processing.
The Customer acknowledges that the extent of his or her personal data for processing purposes is reasonably minimized and that no automated decision making, including profiling, is performed during processing.
Legal bases and purposes of personal data processing
The Customer acknowledges that the personal data are processed on the following legal bases and for the following purposes:
The processing is necessary to perform the contract in order to:
Register via the web form at www.dgdoggear.com
Enter into a sales contract at the request of the Customer
Send electronic commercial newsletters relating to the contractual or pre-contractual relationship between the Customer and the Supplier.
The processing is necessary for performance of the contract (sending a quotation or inquiry, entering into a sales contract) and sending electronic commercial newsletters relating to the contractual or pre-contractual relationship between the Customer and the Supplier
Compliance with the legal obligation (of reporting, disclosure, declaring, or other legal obligations related to the processing of accounts for the Financial Authority, Social Security Administration, Labor Office, etc.)
A legitimate interest of the related protection of the Supplier’s rights and freedoms in the event of defending future legal claims arising from a contractual relationship between the Customer and the Supplier and a legitimate interest of direct marketing
Storage time — archiving
The personal data are stored for 3 years in the case of registration through the web form at www.dgdoggear.com and intention to enter into a sales contract, before the conclusion of such contract at the Customer’s request or archived for 10 years from the termination of the sales contract, unless another legal decree impedes such archiving of personal data.
Transmission of personal data to third parties
The Customer acknowledges that the personal data transferred between the Buyer and the Supplier and processed for the abovementioned purposes may be further transferred to:
The data processors, whose services the Supplier uses for processing (cloud, IT)
External processors providing accounting, tax, legal advice and services
Transportation companies for the purpose of the goods delivery (carrier)
Other entities in order for them to comply with a legal obligation that applies to the Supplier, unless it contradicts the law.
Rights of data subjects
The Customer acknowledges that, in connection with the legal bases of personal data processing, he or she has the following rights:
The right of access the personal data and to ascertain the purpose of processing of the concerned categories of personal data and the period of storage
The right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority
The right to amend personal information, including the right to request explanation and removal of the malicious condition
The right to deletion unless otherwise provided by another legal decree
The right to limit the processing of personal data
The right to the portability of personal data
The right to object
Safe processing statement
The Supplier declares that for the processing of data described above and the related purposes of the processing of personal data, with regard to the state of the equipment and costs incurred for implementation, and to nature, scope and purposes, at the time of identifying the processing and at the time of processing, it took appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from accidental loss, destruction, or damage.
